Question:  What is the weather like? What clothes should we bring?

Answer: In GENERAL  the weather in the 'Med' during the summer ranges from mild to hot, during spring and Autumn, the evenings can cool down. As to clothing, bathing costumes are a MUST. Otherwise just casual summer clothes. It is advisable to bring a warm jumper and a pair of warm longs if you are with us in May and June.

Question: What should we bring with?

Answer: This is a sailing holiday. costumes are a MUST, as is sunscreen and a hat. We do not supply beach towels, so please bring your own. Although catamarans have a lot more space than conventional yachts, no hard bags PLEASE.

Question: What sort of budget should we set aside for the holiday.

Answer: The most difficult of all. So much depends on what you would like to do off the yacht(s), and what you would like to eat and drink.

In a nut-shell - The more you eat and drink ashore, the more money you will need. A reasonable meal will set you back about €10, excluding wine, and for sea-food up to €50 and occasionally more. Drinks in a bar / club or trendy cafe range from €2.50 for a beer to €15 for a fancy cocktail.

On the other side of the coin, if you purchase drinks and food in a 'supermarket' and prepare your own meals, it is a LOT  cheaper. A good compromise seems to be eat breakfast / lunch afloat, and eat out in the evenings. €50 a day per couple has seen many through a great holiday. It is all a mater of taste.
